Local lore tells us The Bonnet was created decades ago to protect young faces from our strong Southern sun. Today’s parents find its favorite use in very unique Portraiture or in completing a truly feminine outfit. And of course, it is the ultimate Easter Bonnet.

Our bonnets are made, as they have been for generations, by hand of organdy and cotton. Brim ruffle, ties, and crown back edges are all rolled and whip-stitched by hand. Each Bonnet requires between 650 - 750 hand stitches. The history and care attachment will note the approximate number of hand stitches in each Bonnet. With proper care, the Bonnet should last for generations.
