We offer “Aberrant Bonnets”!
Our Aberrant Bonnets are thus named because we are sure that
Charleston purists will think we have lost our minds! But,
in our world, there is always room for a little change and a
lot of room for sentiment and laughter. So, as special
orders (no extra charge) we offer the under or upper-brim
constructed of:
1. Small Scottish Clan Tartans (contact for availability- not all clan
tartans are available in cotton.) The Christmas tartan, Black Watch
tartan, and the Royal Stewart tartan are acceptable attire for all
folks of Scottish descent or who just love Scotland. Our tartans
are primarily Spechler-Vogel cotton or pima cotton miniature tartans
imported from Great Britain. They are as close to the actual woolen
tartan setts as we have seen. There is slight variance in some
patterns in moving the weave from wool to cotton. But, from an
avowed “fabriholic”, these are beautiful copies and representations!
