The body of the
Bonnet is constructed of imported white 100% Cotton
organdy. In the traditional Bonnet, the upper brim is always
constructed of white pique. The inner or under brim is customarily constructed
of white or pastel broadcloth or batiste. You may
select any available color option. To personalize your

Construction of our Bonnets is done in the sewing room of an old historic
Lowcountry home. The home was built by one of the area’s
most prominent and revered families whose descendents
live in Charleston today. Ancestors of the current owners first landed in Charleston in 1749.
Family members settled in mid-South Carolina where their
sawmills furnished heart-pine lumber for many of
Charleston's magnificent homes. |
